My belief in weight training is to stimulate not annihilate. Therefore the focus point becomes on the ability to recover from a workout.
Learning moderation is very undervalued. Without moderation people choose restricting which typically leads to over indulging.
The sooner you recognize your training intensity should vary amongst your workouts. The sooner results will become on going.
“Getting toned” is the nice way to say I want to gain muscle and burn fat. You can only get “toned” through weight training, not just cardio.

Its crazy what happens when the mentality shifts from lose, lose, lose to gain, gain, gain. In return you increase your metabolism, gain muscle, and increase your ability to burn more BODY FAT.
Setting the correct foundation will have a tremendous impact on your outcome. Minimal calories plus cardio is an antidote for failure. Teaching your body to burn calories on its own instead of burning calories from workout will dictate your results.
